Welcome to the youth ministry at First UMC Paragould! Our focus is to assist students in their transition from children to young adults while learning what it means to be loved by God. Our hope is to SHARE Christ with those who don't know Him, to LIVE together in God's love, to GROW as disciples of Christ and to SERVE in ministry to all of God's people.

Veritas 2025

Cost is $100; scholarships are available. February 21-23 in Ft. Smith. Registration open through December 20.

What is Veritas?
Veritas is the highlight of the ACCYM year—a high-energy gathering that brings together 6th through 12th graders for an unforgettable experience at the Ft. Smith Convention Center in Ft. Smith, AR. This event goes beyond just being a conference; it’s a chance to ignite faith, make lasting memories, and deepen connections.
With powerful speakers who inspire and worship that moves your spirit, Veritas is designed to leave you feeling uplifted and recharged. Between worship sessions, Saturday’s breakout opportunities open doors to new friendships, learning, and personal growth. Whether it’s engaging in dynamic sessions, spending time in quiet reflection at the prayer room, enjoying games and fellowship in the game room, exploring vendor tables, or supporting a good cause through the Youth Service Fund—there’s something for everyone.
The day doesn’t just end with the event itself; every church receives devotionals to spark meaningful conversations and reflections, helping participants dive deeper into what they’ve experienced together. Veritas isn’t just an event—it’s a celebration of faith, community, and transformation.
