At FUMC Paragould our kids have fun while learning about the love of Jesus! We welcome you to join us for the fun! We have many loving teachers who go above and beyond in teaching our children about the Bible. It is a blessing for our staff and volunteers to love each child and give them a meaningful experience.

Connect Wednesday for Kids (During the School Year)Classes/choir take place from January through the end of April and again September through November.
Time: 6-7:00 pm (right after Wednesday night meal) The children have a rotation of lesson/storytime, crafts, gym activity, and music. |
Sign Ups
A free reading program for children entering Kindergarten through entering 6th grade. Everyone is welcome for this free program that also includes lunch, games, and other activities.
Ozark Mission Project
Ozark Mission Project is hosting OMP101 at various dates/locations this summer for 23-24 4th & 5th graders.
FUMC Paragould will attend: July 28-30, Pulaski Heights (Little Rock), 1p-5p.

● Ozark Mission Project is a week-long mission/youth camp in multiple locations and multiple dates each
summer. OMP is rooted in Arkansas Methodist churches, but not exclusive in participation.
● Ozark Mission Project *should* be FUMC’s version of “church camp”.
● OMP101 is an introduction to OMP and themes of service, mission, poverty, and shared ministry.
● FUMC needs to offer more/different ministry opportunities for Middle School age children. OMP101 is one
attempt to do so.
● Ideally, OMP101 (and other ministries like Confirmation) would plant seeds and build relationships for fruitful
youth ministry for years to come.
● OMP101 costs $100/child. (Adults do not pay/register.)
● FUMC would organize/provide lodging, entertainment, & meals outside of scheduled session.
● Outside of pastors/staff, additional parent/guardian participation and leadership will be needed.
