You can become a member of First United Methodist Church in a couple of ways. First, if you are already a member of another United Methodist congregation, you simply tell us you wish to transfer your membership and we make that happen. Second, if you are a member of another denomination we accept your baptism and your walk of faith and ask that you pledge your loyalty to the United Methodist Church with this vow: "I promise to be loyal to the United Methodist Church, upholding it with my prayers, my presence, my gifts, my service and my witness." If you have never been a member of any church then we will guide you through our process leading to baptism and profession of faith.
To enter the Sanctuary, there is a ramp at the front of the building (Main St.) that leads to the Narthex. The first floor Welcome Center entrance includes handicap parking and access. From the Welcome Center you can access the Worship Center and Fellowship Hall. You may take the elevator or wheelchair lift to Sanctuary and other floors.
