Come and join us at FUMC! We are a congregation rich in history with our roots going back to the 1800s. In fact, FUMC was the first church in Paragould. Today we continue a tradition of welcome, worship and inclusion, building on the generations that preceded us. We have multiple worship services and programs for all ages found here on our website. We look forward to helping you plug into FUMC!

Joining FUMCYou can become a member of First United Methodist Church in a couple of ways. First, if you are already a member of another United Methodist congregation, you simply tell us you wish to transfer your membership and we make that happen. Second, if you are a member of another denomination we accept your baptism and your walk of faith and ask that you pledge your loyalty to the United Methodist Church with this vow: "I promise to be loyal to the United Methodist Church, upholding it with my prayers, my presence, my gifts, my service and my witness." If you have never been a member of any church then we will guide you through our process leading to baptism and profession of faith.
