THE WITT HOUSE
The Witt House is the Community Outreach Center of First United Methodist Church. It was named in memory of Emmy Witt, long time church member. The Witt House was Emmy's family home.
Cora Witt's (Emmy's mother) kitchen was known for producing excellent foods. Today, from her kitchen doorway, nutritious foods are handed to families experiencing difficult times. Those who come to the witt House Food Pantry for assistance will need photo IDs, income statements (including food stamps, TEA, etc.), current utility bill or rent reciept, Social Security cards of all household members, and, if unemployed, verification that you have registered with Workforce Services.
Food Pantry Hours:
Tuesdays 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm
Fridays 9:30 am to 11:30 am
Please note that the food pantry will be closed on holidays and during inclement weather.
