All ages can be involved in the Music Ministry at First United Methodist Church.

Angel Choir - Made up of children ages two through five, the angel choir sings old favorites like "Father Abraham" and "If You're Happy and You Know It" during worship.  They are directed by Stacy Dortch and Tricia Weaver.

Hosanna Singers - Made up of childrens in grades 1st to 3rd, the Hosanna Signers make up half of the combined children's choir.  They perform about once a month and sing a wide variety of music from traditional hymns to contemporary rock.  The ensemble rehearses on Wednesday afternoons from 4:45pm to 5:30pm in the chapel.

Spirit Kids - The other half of the combined children's choir, the Spirit Kids are made up of children in grades 4th to 6th.  They perform about once a month and sing a wide variety of music.  They rehearse on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00pm to 4:45pm in the chapel.

Combined Children's Choir -  Consisting of the Spirit Kids and Hosanna Singers, the Combined Children's Choir perform as one choir about five times per year (Children's Sabbath, Christmas Eve, Palm Sunday, Musical Preview, and the Spring Musical.)

Adult Handbells - Ringing beautifully several times a year, the Adult Handbell Ensemble rehearses on Sunday afternoon in the music office.

Children's Chimes - An ever improving ensemble, the Children's Chimes ensemble rings about every six weeks.  The children not only ring, but also learn how to read notes and rhythms.  The ensemble rehearses on Sunday night at 6:00pm in the music office.

Music in Motion - Open to youth grades 7th to 12th, the Music in Motion Youth Choir performs about once every six weeks.  They perform a wide variety of both contemporary and traditional selections.  The group rehearses on Sunday afternoons at 4:00pm in the chapel.

Youth Praise Band - A relatively new ensemble to the church, the Youth Praise Band leads the contemporary worship service about once a month.  They have also recently perfomed for the Youth Sr. Banquet, the 2006 Paragould Community Thanksgiving service, and performed in Panama City Beach Florida, in June.  The group rehearses on Sunday nights at 7:00pm after youth.  This year's youth band leader was Jeremy Carter.

Adult Praise Team - This ensemble leads the 9:00am contemporary worship every week.  They typically perform contemporary selections, but occasionally mix in an old gospel tune.  The group rehearses on Wednesday nights at 7:30pm in the fellowship hall.

Chancel Choir - Leading music at the 11:00am traditional service, the Chancel Choir performs a wide variety of different music styles.  The group's selections include gospel pieces, hymns, and other traditional songs.  The choir also performs an annual cantata every December.  They rehearse on Wednesday niights at 6:30pm in the sanctuary and are directed by Danny Davis.

Dramatic Expressions (Drama in Worship) - A brand new group to the church with only one performance under their belt, the Dramatic Expressions acting group will try to bring drama into the worship experience in the future.  The group is lead by Diane Perry.
